Complaints Made Greenpeace Lose Its Charity Status
In New Zealand, Greenpeace, an Environmental-Terrorist-Organization, appealed against a 2010 ruling by the Charities Commission, which found ITS PROMOTION OF DISARMAMENT AND PEACE was POLITICAL rather than educational, and while it did not directly advocate illegal acts, Greenpeace-Lunatics had ACTED ILLEGALLY.
According to Justice Paul Heath ―
Non-violent, but potentially ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES ( such as trespass ), designed to put ( in the eyes of Greenpeace ) objectionable activities into the public spotlight were an independent object DISQUALIFYING it from registration as a charitable entity.
According to Justice Heath, Greenpeace’s pleas for disarmament and peace COULD BE SEEN AS AN INDEPENDENT PURPOSE, and its political activities WERE NOT NECESSARY to educate members of the public on the key issues of Greenpeace.

Complaints Against David Suzuki Foundation by Ethical Oil
On April 23th, 2012, David Suzuki Foundation became THE TARGET OF A COMPLAINT TO THE CANADA REVENUE AGENCY ( CRA ), just days after its namesake co-founder, David Suzuki himself, STEPPED DOWN amid heightened tensions be-tween environmental charities and the Government of Canada.
EthicalOil.org, a non-profit organization that promotes oil from Canada and other democracies, sent a COMPLAINT to Canada Revenue Agency asking it to INVESTIGATE whether David Suzuki Foundation is BREAKING RULES THAT PERTAIN TO POLITICAL ACTIVITY.
The COMPLAINT comes on the heels of the Government of Canada’s WARNING that it will keep a much closer eye on the BLURRY LINE BETWEEN CHARITY AND POLITICS, arming the tax department with 8-MILLION-DOLLARS to enforce the rules.
Registered charities are allowed to devote only a SMALL FRACTION of their resources to POLITICAL ACTIVITY, although they can NEVER BE PARTISAN.
EthicalOil.org said in its 44-page COMPLAINT, which was drafted by Calgary-based JSS Barristers ―
If you find the Suzuki Foundation is in contravention of the CRA rules, then we request that you consider whether the Suzuki Foundation should have its CHARITABLE STATUS REVOKED or otherwise be SANCTIONED.
The COMPLAINT relates to David Suzuki Foundation’s activities since 2011, and the bulk of the COMPLAINT outlines allowable political activity such as letter-writing campaigns to federal politicians or blog posts urging the Government of Canada to change its environmental policies.
Jamie Ellerton, Executive Director of EthicalOil.org, said those activities point to David Suzuki Foundation’s POLITICIZATION.
According to Ellerton, Canada Revenue Agency should …
… determine whether or not they are crossing the 10 per cent political threshold and VIOLATING CHARITIES LAW.
The COMPLAINT also says David Suzuki Foundation RECEIVED FUNDING FROM THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT, and that the purpose of the funding may have been TO FORWARD THE POLICIES OF THE UNITED KINGDOM GOVERNMENT ON CLIMATE CHANGE IN CANADA.
Ellerton said the COMPLAINT was faxed to David Suzuki Foundation, but the organization did not confirm receipt or provide comment.
Ellerton said that organizations like Suzuki should FORGO CHARITABLE STATUS — and all the economic benefits it brings — if they want THE FREEDOM TO BE POLITICAL ―
What we’re looking to accomplish [ in issuing a complaint to the revenue agency ] is to ENSURE TAX-PAYERS AREN’T SUBSIDIZING THE POLITICAL ACTIVITY of the David Suzuki Foundation.
Other portions of the COMPLAINT accuse David Suzuki Foundation of ENGAGING IN PROHIBITED PARTISAN ACTIVITY and point to the following as two examples ―
• A blog post titled ONTARIO LIBERAL PLATFORM MAINTAINS GREEN ENERGY FOCUS, which was published two days after the 2011 provincial election was called in 2011; and
• A July 2011 Toronto Star article that reported Mr. Suzuki had endorsed Premier Dalton McGuinty and was URGING ONTARIANS TO RE-ELECT THE LIBERAL LEADER.
EthicalOil.org also mounted a FORMAL COMPLAINT against Environmental Defence in March 2012.

The Canada Revenue Agency takes abuse of Canada’s tax laws very seriously.
When an individual or business does not fully comply with tax legislation, an unfair burden is placed on law-abiding tax-payers and businesses, and the integrity of Canada's tax base is jeopardized.
The mandate of the Informant Leads Program is to co-ordinate all leads that Canada Revenue Agency receives from informants, to determine if there is an element of non-compliance with tax legislation, and to ensure that appropriate enforcement action is taken.

Welcome to the Ontario Lobbyists Registration system.
In 1999 Ontario became the first Canadian province to enact legislation establishing a lobbyists registry.
Since then, the Office of the Integrity Commissioner has operated the system with a view to increasing transparency in government, so that it is always clear who is lobbying whom about what.
There needs to be more transparency with UNDESERVING CHARITY TAX-EXEMPT Anti-Pesticide and Environmental-Terrorist Organizations.
