Golf Course Management Magazine ( GCM ) is the official publication of Golf Course Superintendents Association of America ( GCSAA ).

 

The November 2011 of GCM VALIDATED the Anti-Pesticide agenda with a MISLEADING article entitled « a potential herbicide for broadleaf weeds ».

 

This POORLY-RESEARCHED and SUPERFICIALLY OUT-DATED article provided FALSE EXPECTATIONS about the effectiveness of BIO-HERBICIDES like Phoma macrostoma for the control of broad-leaved weeds.

 

Golf Course Management Magazine is LULLING its readers into a FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY regarding IMMINENT PROHIBITION of weed control products used in the Golf Industry.

 

Readers should NOT to hold out any hope about ANY biological replacement for herbicides like 2,4-D  ―  these Green Alternatives are BOGUS.

 

In the Province of Ontario, Sarritor was the last bio-herbicide that ended up as a DISMAL FAILURE  ―  the investors are still sitting on a pile of this stuff, and could not sell it even if their lives depended on it.

 

Golf Course Management Magazine and the Golf Industry MUST DENOUNCE the so-called Green Alternatives to conventional pest control products as BOGUS. 

 

Green Alternatives DO NOT WORK, and neither does Phoma macrostoma.

 

There will likely be NO viable, efficacious, economical, or lower-risk Green Alternatives within our collective lifetime.

 

Golf Course Management Magazine should be MORE CONCERNED about the Golf Industry COLLISION COURSE with the LOOMING SHIPWRECK of Anti-Pesticide and even Anti-Fertilizer TERRORISM !
