The Optics Could Have Been Badly Interpreted
Optics are the way something looks to an outsider, especially concerning situations that SEEM to affect the environment.
Non-toxic CONCENTRATED BLUE DYE used by the golf industry, when it spilled on the Eau Gallie Boulevard, may have appeared like a toxic spill, and may have been seen a threat to the community.
At another time, and in another place, the Eau Gallie Boulevard Incident could have quickly deteriorated, and left-wing environmental-terror would have NEVER ended for the golf industry if the optics would have been badly or maliciously interpreted.

The Eau Gallie Boulevard Incident
Roadway Was Blue With Toxic Golf Course Spill ?!?!
Blue Monday just took on a new color-coated meaning for police and fire crews in Melbourne, Florida.
On April 24th, 2017, Melbourne police re-opened Eau Gallie Boulevard to Holland Street around 7:30 p.m. after they investigated the source of the spill that left a long stretch of the busy roadway COATED WITH A BLUE SUBSTANCE.
According to Sgt Brian Hart of the Melbourne Police Department ―
We discovered that it’s actually an agricultural pesticide [ WRONG ! ] used on GOLF COURSES.
It’s just really concentrated.
It is NON-TOXIC.
We don’t think anyone did it maliciously.
After several hours of hosing down the dye, a non-toxic chemical used in pesticides, fire crews were able to totally clear the blue color and restore traffic to normal.
Sgt Brian Hart said a small bottle of the CONCENTRATED BLUE DYE was later found.
A light rain that moved through the area, causing the liquid to spread across the roadway.
Cars then splashed it further outward, coating the roadway.
Some motorists took to social media to post warnings to other drivers, saying that their cars had been splashed with the blue substance.
Officers were first called to the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Holland Street to investigate reports of a spill of blue liquid coating the roadway.

Commentary
The Optics Look Bad, But The Spill Was Non-Toxic
In the Eau Gallie Boulevard Incident, the spilled substance was a mere non-toxic COLORANT ( DYE ) that is used to alter the color of spray solutions to visually aid in their application on turf.
Colorants are NOT pesticides.
Nonetheless, the optics look bad.
The nearest golf facility to the roadway spill incident was Mallards Landing Golf Course.
Obviously, the golf facility’s supply truck lost a container of colorant while driving on the roadway.
Nonetheless, the Eau Gallie Boulevard Incident must serve as an example on how to address the critical issues of the golf industry.

Terror Will NEVER End For The Golf Industry Unless Critical Issues Are Addressed
To avoid its imminent demise, and the total loss of all of its conventional pest control products, the golf industry must immediately address several critical issues.
The golf industry faces some huge challenges because of its high degree of vulnerability concerning environmental issues.
In order to successfully deter the malicious efforts of golf-hating, anti-pesticide, and science-hating fanatics, the golf industry must immediately address the following critical issues … otherwise, terror against the golf industry will NEVER end !
PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS ―
The golf industry must STRONGLY ADOPT THE POSITION that conventional pest control products are scientifically-safe and will cause NO harm.
The golf industry must also ADOPT the policy that the ONLY course of action against prohibition is through litigation.
Court action will never permanently stop golf-hating fanatics, but WILL drain their resources while the golf industry seeks other courses of action.
