Before the public pays any serious attention to Anti-Pesticide Activists like Gideon Forman, it must be understood that they have HUGE VESTED INTERESTS IN PERPETUATING IMAGINARY DANGERS about pest control products BECAUSE THEY ARE PAID TO DO SO.
Moreover, Anti-Pesticide Activists like Forman are THE LEAST QUALIFIED TO PROVIDE ANY ADVICE concerning pest control products.
They are NOT CREDIBLE experts on pest control products.
This PROBLEM WITH LACK-OF-ACTIVIST-CREDIBILITY reflects the overall larger problem with ALL Anti-Pesticide Activists.
There are NO Anti-Pesticide Activists who are scientists or researchers with credentials in the field of pest control products.
NONE !
They are NOT COMPETENT to talk about pest control products.

NO BUSINESS GROWTH
According to Gideon Forman, Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION is somehow good for business, and the « number of landscaping and lawn-care companies is growing ». [ ?!?! ]
Forman is ABSOLUTELY WRONG !
It is truly amazing how Anti-Pesticide Activists like Forman attempt to DISTRACT everyone from the CARNAGE that has been wrought by PROHIBITION on the Professional Lawn Care Industry.
Outside of British Columbia, Anti-Pesticide Activists like Forman have DESTROYED the Modern Professional Lawn Care Industry.
Because of Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION, DAMAGES to the Professional Lawn Care Industry were EXTENSIVE because there were NO valid economical alternatives to replace the prohibited products.
Because of Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION, the owners, employees, and families dependent on Professional Lawn Care businesses faced TERROR, DESPAIR, and DESTITUTION.
There were NO OPPORTUNITIES FOR BUSINESS GROWTH.
For example, in the Province of Ontario, the Professional Lawn Care Industry LOST OVER 500,000,000 DOLLARS.
In Ontario, Professional Lawn Care businesses were forced to TERMINATE many or most of their employees ― UP TO 12,500 BECAME UNEMPLOYED.
Observers are expecting 780 BUSINESS FAILURES OR BANKRUPTCIES.
In Ontario, ONE-COMPANY-PER-WEEK DISAPPEARS INTO TOTAL OBLIVION.
The SAME fate awaits British Columbia.

According to Forman … « The up side to the provincial bans is that companies are developing more non-toxic pest-control alternatives. The industry has come out with more non-toxic products. » [ ?!?! ]
In 2008, Anti-Pesticide Activists like Gideon Forman DECEIVED Ontario Government Officials and the public that viable, efficacious, economical, or lower-risk Green Alternatives are already available to replace conventional pest control products.
Activists like Forman who continue to promote Green Alternative Pesticides DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT !
Moreover, instead of increasing the public’s awareness of the largest known preventable causes of health issues, such as smoking and diet, Anti-Pesticide Activists prefer SCAMMING, DECEIVING, and ALARMING the public into believing there is some IMAGINARY DANGER with conventional pest control products.
Rather than providing information for improving the lifestyle choices of the public that could, without a doubt, actually save lives, Anti-Pesticide Activists prefer CONCOCTING MYTHS, DECEPTIONS, FEAR-MONGERING, FRAUDULENT LIES, MISCONCEPTIONS, COERCION, THREATS, TERROR, and PARANOID CONSPIRACIES about conventional pest control products.
BOGUS GREEN ALTERNATIVE PESTICIDES
Overall, Green Alternative Pesticides are INEFFECTIVE, INADEQUATE, HIGH-RISK, INEFFECTIVE, MORE TOXIC, and STUNNINGLY EXPENSIVE !
There are NO viable, efficacious, economical, or low-risk alternatives to replace conventional pest control products.
Green Alternative Pesticides are BOGUS and DISMAL FAILURES ― they DO NOT WORK and they are NOT INNOVATIVE products.
Green Alternative Pesticides are NOT SAFER, NOT BETTER, and NOT MORE EFFECTIVE.
A well-maintained conventional lawn and landscape can ONLY BE ACHIEVED WITH CONVENTIONAL pest control products and fertilizers.
Fortunately, CONVENTIONAL pest control products are SAFE, EFFECTIVE, ECONOMICAL, and LOW-RISK.
Green Alternative Pesticides and even Organic Fertilizers often CONTAIN LIVING PATHOGENIC ORGANISMS, FERMENTED MATERIALS, OR METALS THAT MAY BE DEEMED UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
In many cases, Green Alternative Pesticides are questionably HIGHER IN TOXICITY, and pose HIGHER ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS.

WATER QUALITY
According to Gideon Forman, Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION somehow improved water quality in some streams, with « concentrations of pesticides … down 90 per cent » in the Province of Ontario. [ ?!?! ]
Forman is WRONG !
On the issue of the Province of Ontario, the 2009 PROHIBITION of pest control products DEFINITELY DID NOT improve water quality in streams and rivers.
For more than ten years, well BEFORE the 2009 PROHIBITION, there were CONSISTENTLY LOW LEVELS of pest control products in Ontario streams.
ALMOST UNDETECTABLE LEVELS of pest control products were found in Ontario streams EVEN BEFORE the 2009 PROHIBITION.
Both before and after the 2009 PROHIBITION, the presence of pest control products were measured in the PARTS PER TRILLION RANGE and WELL BELOW water quality guidelines.
In fact, previous studies have shown that, for more than ten years, there have been CONSISTENTLY LOW LEVELS of pest control products in Ontario streams.
The 2009 Ontario PROHIBITION did NOT protect the environment.
LAKES AND RIVERS ARE SAFE
Pest control products used in the Urban Landscape DO NOT enter our lakes and rivers through surface run-off and storm sewers
Non-Expert Anti-Pesticide Activists ALLEGE that the PROHIBITION of pest control products in the Urban Landscape will somehow lead to lower concentrations of herbicide in our stream water.
This is WRONG !
This allegation is FALSE, MISLEADING, and CONTRADICTS OVER TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF RESEARCH.
Pest control products used in the Urban Landscape DO NOT enter our lakes and rivers through surface run-off and storm sewers.

POLL SAYS NO PROHIBITION
Before implementing PROHIBITION in British Columbia, Government Officials should study a POLL conducted by Canadian Consumer Specialty Products Association ( CCSPA ) in British Columbia.
In 2011, CCSPA conducted a POLL in British Columbia that provided the following conclusions ―
● The VAST MAJORITY of residents are OPPOSED to the PROHIBITION of conventional pest control products
● The VAST MAJORITY of residents FAVOUR the continued use of pest control products around their homes and in public green spaces
● The VAST MAJORITY of residents said « yes » to conventional pest control products
● Only an INFINITELY SMALL number of residents say « no » to the use of pest control products
● Residents want to continue to have the option to use pest control products
● Residents SUPPORT THE CONTINUED USE OF PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS in the Urban Landscape
