How long will the rational thinking people among us continue to allow the control freaks to limit our ability to make a better way ?!?!
We have the intelligence and know-how to basically limit most challenges facing mankind, but some of « mankind » refuses to get out of our way so we can make it happen.
With the daily deluge of « news » about how Zika Virus will alter the planet forever, I am waiting for one rational person to speak up and remind the world that …
… We Could Take Care Of This Potential
Pandemic With Three Just Letters …
D-D-T
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ―
Zika Virus is transmitted by daytime-active Aedes mosquitoes. In January 2016, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) issued travel guidance on affected countries, including the use of enhanced precautions, and guidelines for pregnant women including considering postponing travel. Other governments or health agencies soon issued similar travel warnings, while Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Jamaica advised women to postpone getting pregnant until more is known about the risks.
I marvel at our continual desire to handicap ourselves in the quest to improve the planet and human life on it.
DDT Insecticide was introduced during World War II to prevent millions of cases of louse-borne typhus and other insect-borne diseases.
After the war, it was used to PROTECT BILLIONS OF PEOPLE from the threat of Malaria.
In the Americas, DDT Insecticide was used to control Malaria, and also to eradicate Aedes aegypti, the mosquito responsible for Yellow Fever, Dengue, and now, Chikungunya, and Zika Viruses.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ―
Chikungunya is an infection caused by the Chikungunya Virus. The disease features the sudden onset of fever two to four days after exposure. The fever usually lasts two to seven days, while accompanying joint pains typically last weeks or months but sometimes years. The mortality rate is a little less than 1 in 1,000, with the elderly or those with underlying chronic medical problems most likely having severe complications.
In the 1970s, the Nixon Administration formed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the sole purpose of banning DDT. [ ?!?! ]
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ―
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ) was NOT solely created as a result of DDT. The EPA was created primarily to pacify the anti-president-Nixon-movement. In the 1960s and 1970s, many Americans became anti-DDT enviro-fanatics because ― • they were unpatriotic and disloyal to their country • they felt threatened by the draft-lottery to determine the order of draft into the army for serving in the Vietnam war • they were associated with subversive groups like communists who sought to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Lenin with Earth Day on April 22nd ( Lenin was the Russian revolutionary and communist politician who led the October revolution of 1917 ) • they were conspiring to oust President Richard M Nixon • they saw opportunities to acquire profit and power through the foundation of environmental-terrorist organizations that were provided with charity tax-exempt statuses • they could not have cared less about the environment. America’s enviro-fanatics became radical violent militant subversive activists who conspired to impose life-style choices on society … Like the prohibition of DDT insecticide. Fanatical enviro-terrorism never ends !
Let me give you just a short recap of the hearing that started in America, and ultimately led to the GLOBAL PROHIBITION of DDT Insecticide.
Lasting seven months, INVESTIGATIVE HEARINGS on DDT were led by Judge Edmund Sweeney and gathered testimony from 125 expert witnesses with 365 exhibits.
After assessing all the evidence, Judge Sweeney found …
The uses of DDT under the registration involved here DO NOT have a deleterious effect on freshwater fish, estuarine organisms, wild birds, or other wildlife …
DDT is NOT a carcinogenic hazard to man …
DDT is NOT a mutagenic or teratogenic hazard to man.
Accordingly, Judge Sweeney ruled that DDT should NOT BE PROHIBITED and should REMAIN AVAILABLE FOR USE.
Attempting to head off that hysteria-induced global health disaster, the National Academy of Sciences issued a report in 1970 PRAISING DDT Insecticide ―
To only a few chemicals does man owe as great a debt as to DDT.
It has contributed to the great increase in agricultural productivity, while sparing countless humanity from a host of diseases, most notably, perhaps, Scrub Typhus and Malaria.
Indeed, it is estimated that, in little more than two decades, DDT HAS PREVENTED 500 MILLION DEATHS due to Malaria that would otherwise have been inevitable.
Abandonment of this valuable insecticide should be undertaken only at such time and in such places as it is evident that the prospective gain to humanity exceeds the consequent losses.
At this writing, all available SUBSTITUTES for DDT are both MORE EXPENSIVE per crop-year and decidedly MORE HAZARDOUS.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ―
Scrub Typhus is a mite-borne disease caused by Orientia tsutsugamushi. S ymptoms are fever, a primary lesion, a macular rash, and lymphadenopathy. Scrub Typhus is related to rickettsial diseases.
Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease of humans and other animals caused by parasitic protozoans. Malaria causes symptoms that typically include fever, fatigue, vomiting, and headaches. In severe cases it can cause yellow skin, seizures, coma, or death. Symptoms usually begin ten to fifteen days after being bitten. If not properly treated, people may have recurrences of the disease months later. In those who have recently survived an infection, reinfection usually causes milder symptoms. This partial resistance disappears over months to years if the person has no continuing exposure to malaria.
We often talk about how science, instead of emotion, needs to rule the day.
While I can make a very strong case for DDT, the facts are nothing new and the discussion has been happening for decades, if not generations.
The real question is, at what point does someone at least pose the question about re-evaluating our options ?!?!
Do we wait until Zika sickens thousands of athletes at the upcoming summer Olympics in Brazil, where the disease is already prevalent ?!?!
Do we spend our time and money researching vaccines or treatments for children born infected with the disease ?!?!
Or do we stop the problem in its tracks by killing the vector with a safe, effective insecticide ?!?!
At the end of the day you must recognize that God our creator has given us an option with which to minimize the damages to humans from deadly mosquitoes.
God must be asking himself over and over, « Why aren’t they smart enough to use what I have provided for them ?!?! »

Background Information
There Is One Legitimate Solution To Stop The Potential Zika Virus Pandemic ― DDT Insecticide !
Prohibiting DDT insecticide will lead directly to the spread of the potential Zika Virus pandemic.
DDT was⁄is the most effective and most affordable chemical we have to control insect-borne diseases like malaria, and ostensibly Zika Virus.
Right now, it seems highly likely that the Yellow Fever Mosquito, the insect-vector for Zika Virus, will gain foot-holds in America, as did the West Nile Virus, although the magnitude has yet be determined.
Far worse, Brazil is hosting the Summer Olympics in 2016, and it is unlikely that it will be able to do an effective job in controlling Zika Virus.
There is one legitimate solution ― DDT Insecticide.
Claims of controlling insect-borne diseases without DDT are incorrect and fundamentally mis-leading !
Furthermore, there is NO evidence that DDT Insecticide is harmful to human health.
DDT-hating fanatics have been WRONG for over 50 years !
Any campaign against DDT means it is used far less than is efficient or desired against insect-borne diseases like Zika Virus.

Communities and businesses are being HARMED and DESTROYED and RAPED by LUNATIC-TERRORISTS who ARBITRARILY AND RECKLESSLY IMPOSE PROHIBITIONS against pest control products used in the Urban Landscape and by the Agriculture Industry, and who PERPETRATE OTHER ACTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORISM.
We are living in the 9|11 Era of Anti Pesticide & Environmental Terrorism where at least ONE SUBVERSIVE ACT OF TERRORISM is perpetrated EVERY SINGLE DAY by LUNATIC-TERRORISTS.
A LUNATIC is a person whose actions and manner are marked by extreme recklessness.
The RECKLESS ACTS OF SUBVERSION by these LUNATIC-TERRORISTS has led to the ARBITRARY IMPOSITION of Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION in several jurisdictions throughout North America.
The result was CATASTROPHIC CARNAGE !
Because of LUNATIC-TERRORISTS, provinces like Ontario now have a TRAIL OF ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION WITH HUNDREDS OF SMALL BUSINESSES DESTROYED and THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE OUT OF WORK, a MORE DANGEROUS OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT, and a BLACK MARKET IN PESTICIDES.
Only TRUE LUNATICS would wish to create a TRAIL OF ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION WITH HUNDREDS OF SMALL BUSINESSES DESTROYED and THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE OUT OF WORK.
Because of LUNATIC-TERRORISTS, we are living in the DARK AGE OF ANTI PESTICIDE TERRORISM where sound science is trumped by FAKE SCIENTISTS, JUNK SCIENCE and UNVERIFIABLE SECRET EVIDENCE through FABRICATION, INNUENDO, and INTERNET RUMOR ― scientific research PROVES that pest control products will CAUSE NO HARM and can be USED SAFELY.
An informed public is better able to protect itself and its communities and businesses from LUNATIC-TERRORISTS who are THE LEAST QUALIFIED TO PROVIDE ANY ADVICE about pest control products or the environment.
NORAHG is the National Organization Responding Against HUJE that seek to harm the Green space and other industries, and the well-being of our communities.
NORAHG morally represents the VAST SILENT MAJORITY of people associated with turf and ornamental plant maintenance who are OPPOSED to LUNATIC-TERRORISTS and their Anti Pesticide PROHIBITIONS, resulting in the CLOSURE or ABANDONMENT of green spaces under the RIDICULOUS PRETEXT CONCOCTED BY LUNATICS of somehow « saving » the environment.
NORAHG is a NATIONAL NON-PROFIT NON-PARTISAN organization that does not accept money from corporations or governments or trade associations, and represents NO VESTED INTERESTS WHATSOEVER.
NORAHG is dedicated to reporting PESTICIDE FREE FAILURES, as well as the work of RESPECTED & HIGHLY RATED EXPERTS who promote ENVIRONMENTAL REALISM and PESTICIDE TRUTHS.
NORAHG strikes back against the MYTHS concerning the need for prohibition against pest control products.

Force Of Nature was launched by NORAHG for CONTINUOUS transmission on the Internet on January 1st, 2009 ― however, the VERY FIRST Stand-Alone Force Of Nature Report was issued on September 19th, 2008.
On March 15th, 2010, Uncle Adolph independently launched The Pesticide Truths, an easy-to-use Web-Site that collects relevant reports of information right-off-the-press.

The reports and blogs from Pesticide Truths, Uncle Adolph, and Force Of Nature, in some ways, are like Google for everything concerning the SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES of Anti-Pesticide and Enviro-Lunatic Terrorists.
Many of these reports and blogs provide a sequence of historical events WITH COMMENTARY, the neutrality of which might be disputed.
This is what we do. Don’t thank us. It’s a public service. And we are glad to do it.
