Sheryl McCumsey, who lives in the Hardisty neighbourhood with her family, has rerouted the ducting on her home so that the air intake won’t suck up nearby herbicide spray.
“I do not feel safe on my own property and do not know when I may be ‘touching’ pesticide that has just been recently applied to my own property,” McCumsey said.
If there is damage to property — McCumsey said her plants have been killed — one of the few options available is the city’s remediation process.
