Horrific Fines Against Golf Course Superintendents !
In North Carolina, horrific fines are now being imposed specifically against golf course superintendents, who have been found in violation of state law because of the illegal applications of pest control products.
Superintendents defied the label directions.
Why bother with legal and registered label directions when you can LIE and CHEAT.
$800 fines were levied against them, and these fines have been considered HORRIFIC because they were imposed specifically against superintendents, and NOT against the golf facility that they worked for.
Traditionally, throughout North America, fines have been levied against the business, and NOT against the employees.
Nonetheless, if some golf course superintendents can’t be good examples, then they’ll just have to serve as horrible warnings.
At least the North Carolina fines have not been out-of-proportion with the seriousness of the violations, especially when compared to jurisdictions like the province of Ontario, from 2009 to 2018, when stunningly debilitating and ULTRA-HORRIFIC fines were imposed by Liberal government officials.
Ontario fines against lawn care employees who performed illegal pesticide applications have reached $20,000 to $22,500.
No one in Ontario wants to live in a society where horrific fines are arbitrarily imposed by prejudiced anti-pesticide business-hating Liberal government officials.

Randy Lee Lanier, Pesticide Applicator for Tri-River Lawn Care in Sanford, agreed to pay $800 for DRIFT DAMAGE to a soybean field from a pesticide application to a cell phone tower station.
North Carolina law states that no person shall apply pesticides under such conditions that drift from pesticide particles or vapors results in adverse effects.
