And, CONTINUES TO MAINTAIN ITS HEAD FIRMLY WITHIN ITS BUTT.
And WCTA's Elected Leaders and Staff ARE AS IDIOTIC AS EVER !
According to WCTA, over the past 3 years, it has accomplished a tremendous amount of work on the Pesticide Issue. [ ?!?! ]
It MAY have done a lot of work, but, WCTA HAS ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING.
WCTA's IDIOTIC Elected Leaders and Staff say they shouldered much of the initial work, but it became very apparent that the Pesticide Issue was going to need the full participation of all the member organizations involved in the business of golf to truly have an impact.
In fact, WCTA AND ITS ALLIES HAD NO IMPACT WHATSOEVER !
In 2011, when the SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON COSMETIC PESTICIDES met, WCTA brags that it had representation.
When questions were asked, WCTA was supposedly there to provide answers.
In fact, Jerry Rousseau, representing the WCTA, told the Special Committee that he SUPPORTED the PROHIBITION of WEED-CONTROL PRODUCTS.
Rousseau and WCTA BETRAYED everyone in the Green Space Industry !
WCTA operated as an Anti-Pesticide Terrorist-Organization, just like Canadian Cancer Society.
Consequently, NORAHG called for the DISMISAL of Jerry Rousseau as Executive Director of Western Canada Turfgrass Association.
Moreover, NORAHG DEMANDED that WCTA must RETRACT Rousseau's statements.
Recently, WCTA had EFFRONTERY TO TAKE CREDIT for the PROPOSED REGULATORY CHANGES to the IPM Act that were circulated October 9th, 2013.
Apparently, the PROPOSED CHANGES reflected a number of WCTA's recommendations that it put forward.
WCTA CLEARLY CONTINUES TO MAINTAIN ITS HEAD FIRMLY UP ITS BUTT !
WCTA's recommendations HAD NO IMPACT WHATSOEVER !
Additionally, on October 10th, 2013, WCTA's IDIOTIC Elected Leaders and Staff met with the Minister Of Environment, Mary Polak, to discuss the recommendations previously put forward.
BIG DEAL !
Meeting with the Minister Of The Environment was NO BIG DEAL since the current government had already decided TO OPPOSE ANY COMMERCIAL PROHIBITION AGAINST PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS.
WCTA's IDIOTIC Elected Leaders and Staff are DELUDING their members into believing that they are somehow accomplishing something with government.
