« The use of pesticides on lawns, gardens, parks, and golf courses is completely unnecessary ― and DANGEROUS. » [ ?!?! ]
Ostensibly, Forman wants everyone to IMPLEMENT a PROHIBITION against pest control products used in the Urban Landscape.
How did Forman arrive at the conclusion that products used by maintenance professionals are somehow « dangerous » ?!?!
Was his ASSESSMENT based upon his vast scientific knowledge of pest control products ?!?! [ No ! ]
Did Forman ASSESS these products after spending time and money carefully studying their effects on health and environment ?!?! [ No ! ]
Is Forman, who is a MERE FUND-RAISER for an Anti-Pesticide Organization, COMPETENT to give ANY advice concerning these issues ?!?! [ No ! ]
Vested Interest
Government Officials understand that activists like Forman have HUGE VESTED INTERESTS IN PERPETUATING IMAGINARY DANGERS against pest control products BECAUSE THEY ARE PAID TO DO SO.
Moreover, Anti-Pesticide Activists like Forman are THE LEAST QUALIFIED TO PROVIDE ANY ADVICE concerning pest control products.
They are NOT CREDIBLE experts on pest control products.
This PROBLEM WITH LACK-OF-ACTIVIST-CREDIBILITY reflects the overall larger problem with ALL Anti-Pesticide Activists.

The RISK ASSESSMENT of pest control products indicates that they are PRACTICALLY-NON-TOXIC.
Consequently, it is a fact that pest control products cause NO HARM, including chronic effects such as CANCER.
Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITIONS may be IMPOSED in British Columbia under the PRETEXT of protecting children, when, in fact, CHILDREN ARE NOT AT RISK.
Children across North America, even in those jurisdictions with NO pesticide bans, are all protected since these products are applied at VERY LOW DOSES and represent NO THREAT TO CHILDREN.
The SAFETY ASSESSMENTS of pest control products by Heath Canada and the Environmental Protection Agency take into consideration CHILDREN’s physiology, behaviours, and habits WHILE PLAYING ON TREATED GRASS.

There are NO viable, efficacious, economical, or low-risk alternatives to replace conventional pest control products.
Green Alternative Pesticides are BOGUS and DISMAL FAILURES ― they DO NOT WORK and they are NOT INNOVATIVE products.
Overall, Green Alternative Pesticides are INEFFECTIVE, INADEQUATE, HIGH-RISK, MORE TOXIC, and STUNNINGLY EXPENSIVE !
In many cases, Green Alternative Pesticides are questionably HIGHER IN TOXICITY, and pose HIGHER ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS.

Ontario College of Family Physicians ( OCFP ) is a DISCREDITED RADICAL Anti-Pesticide Organization that is INDIRECTLY OPERATED as a PARTISAN PUBLIC INFORMATION SHIELD by Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
OCFP DID NOT conduct a serious scientific study … it conducted a mere Literature Review, and could only use those reports found in the OPEN PUBLIC LITERATURE.
OCFP was NOT even in « The Information Loop » on issues regarding pest control products, and did not avail itself to the EXTENSIVE TOXICOLOGY DATABASE that is available from Health Canada.
OCFP never even bothered to request to look at the TOXICOLOGY DATABASE through a process that Health Canada refers to as The Reading Room.
The authors and reviewers of the BOGUS-OCFP-Review were not only SCIENTIFICALLY IGNORANT, they were LAZY and STUPID.

Health Canada’s EXTENSIVE TOXICOLOGY DATABASE INDISPUTABLY PROVES that pest control products are SCIENTIFICALLY SAFE since they have been scrutinized and approved by the HUNDREDS of expert scientists at Health Canada !
Health Canada requires each new pest control product to go through about TWO-HUNDRED SEPARATE TESTS to examine health and environmental impacts as well as value, and costing about 250 MILLION DOLLARS.
There are THOUSANDS OF DEATHS per year from KNOWN CANCER-CAUSING SUBSTANCES such as cigarette smoke and alcohol.
Conversely, Anti-Pesticide Organizations like Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment, Canadian Cancer Society, and Ontario College of Family Physicians have NOT SPENT A SINGLE PENNY to research pest control products.
