Overview
Prohibitions Are Extremely Biased & Highly Prejudicial !
British Columbia’s fanatical municipal prohibitions have allowed thousands of exception statuses for municipal green spaces, hard-landscapes & infra-structures, golf facilities, agriculture, & forestry. ( See link at the end of this segment. )
In order to be consistent & fair, there should be NO #@!!% exception statuses whatsoever !
Otherwise, prohibition will continue to be a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !
Moreover, in all cases, municipal prohibitions against conventional pest control products have become dismal failures that have led to catastrophic business, ecological, & financial carnage ! ( See the next several segments. )
Additionally, prohibitions have relied on false-facts regarding the imaginary danger of conventional pest control products ! ( See later segments. )

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Create Catastrophic Ecological Carnage Of Uncontrolled, Invasive, & Destructive Pests !
British Columbia’s fanatical municipal prohibitions have inflicted ecological pest disasters upon their residents.
Municipal & residential properties have been turned into garbage dumps !
Without conventional pest control products, green spaces & hard-landscapes have become pest-infested & dangerous garbage dumps because it is impossible to control invasive weeds & destructive insects by using so-called green alternative pesticides & practices.
Municipal prohibitions have led to catastrophic carnage for tens of thousands of destroyed & ravaged properties every single year !
For example, European Chafer Insects have severely damaged & destroyed municipal & residential properties, have inflicted garbage dump green spaces, and have cost stunningly exorbitant amounts of money ! ( See next segment. )

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Create The Catastrophic Ecological Carnage Of Uncontrolled & Destructive Insects !
Municipal prohibitions have led to catastrophic ecological insect carnage in the urban landscape.
For example, because of prohibition, municipal & residential properties have been destroyed & ravaged, and look like insect-infested garbage dumps.
In many municipalities, at least one-third of all properties are being destroyed every single year by European Chafer Insects.
They look like a roto-tiller attacked them.
Damages are in the millions of dollars.
Since 2001, when it was identified by Mr William H Gathercole, this destructive insect has spread throughout the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, originating from municipalities like Burnaby, New Westminster, Port Moody, and Vancouver.
And outbreaks have been increasing exponentially every single year.
Residents who seek to protect their residential properties are shжt-outta-luck, because most of BC’s pesticide-hating municipal councils will NEVER agree to allow the required annual application of conventional insecticides for the control of European Chafer Insects !
British Columbians are being forced to live in #@!!% insect-destroyed garbage dumps !
Insect problems created by prohibition came as NO surprise to observers who have repeatedly warned that it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep municipal & residential properties from becoming insect-infested & dangerous garbage dumps.
NO ONE living in prohibition municipalities wants to live in #@!!% insect-destroyed, and dangerous, garbage dumps !
Because of the catastrophic ecological carnage of uncontrollable insect destruction, prohibition has been a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Create The Catastrophic Ecological Carnage Of Uncontrolled & Invasive Weeds !
Municipal prohibitions have led to catastrophic ecological weed carnage in the urban landscape.
There have been multiple reports of severe, uncontrolled, & invasive weeds throughout British Columbia.
Municipal prohibitions have created invasive weed problems that have invaded municipal & residential properties, have inflicted garbage dump green spaces, and have cost stunningly exorbitant amounts of money !
Uncontrolled weeds have also presented a danger to people with allergies.
More specifically, municipal prohibitions have led to catastrophic ecological carnage on infra-structures with the spread of Japanese Knotweed ― an invasive & destructive weed that can drill through asphalt, can break house foundations, but cannot be controlled with ineffective green alternative pesticides.
Consequently, conventional weed control products have been allowed by some municipalities for glyphosate stem-injection to control Japanese Knotweed.
Weed problems created by prohibition came as NO surprise to observers who have repeatedly warned that it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep municipal & residential properties from becoming weed-infested & dangerous garbage dumps.
NO ONE living in prohibition municipalities wants to live in #@!!% weed-infested, and dangerous, garbage dumps !
Because of the catastrophic ecological carnage of uncontrolled & invasive weeds, prohibition has been a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Inflict The Catastrophic Financial Carnage Of Stunningly Exorbitant Costs !
Municipal prohibitions have encumbered tax-payers with stunningly exorbitant costs !
Municipal prohibitions have cost tens-of-thousands, and even millions-of-dollars per year, in order to maintain pesticide-free municipal green spaces & hard landscapes.
For municipalities with 100,000 residents or more, the cost of maintaining pesticide-free public green spaces has been $100,000 or more per year.
For municipalities with 250,000 residents or more, the cost of maintaining pesticide-free public green spaces has been $250,000 or more per year.
For municipalities with 400,000 residents or more, the cost of maintaining pesticide-free public green spaces has been $1,000,000 or more per year.
For small municipalities, with less than 50,000 residents, maintaining pesticide-free properties has led to cost increases $30,000 or more per year when relying on the failed practices of Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ).
Maintaining pesticide-free hard-surfaces & infra-structures, when using a two-man crew for manual weed picking, has cost at least $60,000 per year.
Maintaining a small number of pesticide-free sport fields has led to cost increases $30,000, or more, per year when relying on Fiesta green alternative herbicide.
In one case, a lawn bowling club spent a stunningly exorbitant $400,000 for the installation of artificial grass, because of prohibition !
How can municipalities afford this #@!!% ban nonsense ?!?!
Municipal officials have repeatedly confirmed that prohibition require annual budgets which they cannot afford to implement.
Municipalities desperately need conventional pest control products in order to economically & effectively control invasive weeds & destructive insects !
Municipalities CANNOT afford this #@!!% ban nonsense !
Because of this catastrophic financial carnage, prohibition has been a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Inflict Catastrophic Business Carnage !
Municipal prohibitions have provided inconsistent & unfair exception statuses for invasive weeds & destructive insects ― for municipal properties ― but NOT for the vast majority of lawn care businesses !
Consequently, municipal prohibitions have annihilated legitimate & tax-paying businesses that operate in the professional lawn care industry !
These businesses CANNOT afford the hardship & the cost of this #@!!% prohibition nonsense !
Once any prohibition is adopted, local businesses are expected to disappear into oblivion within 2 or 3 years, and vast numbers of workers are expected to become unemployed.
But since 2003, when the first BC prohibition was imposed in Port Moody, businesses have been forced to rely upon green alternative pesticides that are stunningly expensive and simply DO NOT WORK.
Prior to any prohibition, professional lawn care customers have depended upon the use of effective and safe pest control products to control invasive weeds & destructive insects.
Once prohibition has been adopted, professional lawn care customers are telling businesses that … « if you can’t get rid of my weeds legally, I’ll do it myself ».
These businesses expect that, every year, they will continue to lose more and more customers due to BC’s municipal prohibitions.
Municipal prohibitions have been disgustingly arbitrary in their flagrant discrimination against professional lawn care businesses !
With the inevitable catastrophic business carnage, prohibition will continue to be a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !
Fortunately, some municipalities, like Kelowna and Salmon Arm, have legislated exception statuses for businesses operating in the professional lawn care industry.

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Rely On False-Facts Regarding The Imaginary Danger Of Conventional Pest Control Products !
Elected officials have validated their prohibitions based upon false-facts related to the Precautionary Principle, Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ), and Green Alternatives. ( See later segments. )
By relying upon these false-facts, prohibition has been a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !
――――――――――――――――――――
Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Rely On False-Facts Regarding The Validity Of The Precautionary Principle !
Municipal prohibitions have been prominently validated by elected officials who have relied upon the false-facts related to the discredited Precautionary Principle.
The #@!!% Precautionary Principle is failed & worthless, and has been discredited !
The Precautionary Principle was intended for use where science DOES NOT EXIST.
The Precautionary Principle allows the use of false-allegations regarding the imaginary danger of conventional pest control products.
The Precautionary Principle was designed to alarm& enrage the public into believing that prohibition is somehow necessary.
Unfortunately, the false-facts related to the discredited Precautionary Principle have been mis-used to serve the ambitions of elected officials.

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Rely On False-Facts Regarding The Effectiveness Of Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ) !
Municipal prohibitions have been prominently validated by elected officials who have relied upon the false-facts related to the failed practices of Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ).
Because of the adoption of Integrated Pest Management by British Columbia’s pesticide-hating municipalities, prohibition has been a dismal failure !
Originally, even some golf facilities, located within certain municipalities, like Maple Ridge and Nelson, have been forced to follow the failed practices of Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ).
Municipalities expected IPM to be effective for the control of invasive weeds & destructive insects.
Unfortunately, IPM is #@!!% nonsense !
IPM is a dismal failure, and DOES NOT WORK to control invasive weeds & destructive insects !
It is impossible for municipalities ( and golf facilities ) to keep their properties playable, pest-free, safe, and attractive by using IPM.
In fact, failed IPM practices have necessitated stunningly exorbitant costs in the hundreds of thousands of dollars !
Does this mean there is hope for controlling destructive insects in prohibition jurisdictions ?!?!
NO !
IPM is a dismal failure, and does NOT, and will NEVER, control invasive weeds & destructive insects !

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Rely On False-Facts Regarding The Effectiveness Green Alternatives !
Municipal prohibitions have been prominently validated by elected officials who have relied upon the false-fact that green alternatives can somehow replace conventional pest control products.
Sadly, green alternatives are a primary reason for the repeated failures of municipal prohibitions in British Columbia !
British Columbia’s pesticide-hating municipalities have falsely-assumed that safe & effective & economical green alternative pesticides & practices could replace conventional pest control products ! [ WRONG ! ]
Instead they prefer living in the world of false-facts that are non-truths & un-scientific.
Over time, municipalities have quickly recognized that green alternatives are dismal failures, not only because of their stunning costs, but also because of their ineffectiveness.
They have now recognized that they desperately need conventional pest control products, and CANNOT rely upon ineffective green alternatives !
Consequently, some municipalities have allowed exception statuses for cases where green alternatives are not available ( or are not effective ) for protecting municipal green spaces from invasive & damaging pests.
Unfortunately, most British Columbia’s pesticide-hating municipalities will NEVER acknowledge that there are NO viable, NO efficacious, NO economical, and NO low-risk alternatives to replace conventional pest control products !
In one case, Port Alberni has actually rescinded prohibition by acknowledging the failure of green alternative pesticides & practices.
#@!!% green alternatives are ineffective and DO NOT WORK !

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Rely On False-Facts Regarding The Effectiveness Of Manual Weed Picking !
In many cases, once municipalities have imposed prohibition, their employees have been forced to resort to the back-breaking & agonizing job of manual weed picking.
Manual weed picking is another primary reason for the repeated failures of municipal prohibitions in British Columbia !
Manual weed picking is TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE for weed control, and DOES NOT WORK !
It is NOT cost effective, and is back-breakingly labour-intensive !
Manual weed picking means that municipal employees & residents are being devalorized as mere cotton-pickers !
This comes as NO surprise to observers who have repeatedly warned that it is IMPOSSIBLE for municipal employees & residents to keep their properties weed-free, safe, and attractive by using practices like manual weed picking.
Relying on this practice means that municipal & residential lawns will inevitably become weed-infested garbage dumps.
Because of the adoption of manual weed picking, prohibition has been a dismal failure for municipalities in British Columbia !
Municipalities desperately need conventional pest control products, and NOT failed green alternative practices like manual weed picking !
Instead of admitting that #@!!% weed picking is nonsense, they prefer living in the world of false-facts that are non-truths & un-scientific.

Why Are Municipal Prohibitions Failing In British Columbia ?!?!
Prohibitions Rely On False-Facts Regarding The Effectiveness Of Fiesta Herbicide !
Fiesta Herbicide ( a.k.a. Scotts EcoSense & Weed-B-Gon ) is a primary reason for the repeated failures of municipal prohibitions in British Columbia !
With the adoption of these prohibitions, municipal employees & residents are being forced to rely on green alternative pesticides like Fiesta.
In fact, Fiesta is ALMOST TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE as a weed control product !
Municipal officials have been perpetuating the lie that prohibitions can be a success because Fiesta Herbicide can successfully replace conventional products such as Killex.
Sadly, Fiesta DOES NOT WORK when compared to conventional products like Killex.
In fact, quite often, it would be better to do NOTHING rather than use Fiesta Herbicide.
Fiesta Herbicide is inferior and a dismal failure; and must NOT even be remotely used in order to mock-validate the prohibition against conventional pest control products.
Unfortunately, most municipalities have failed to admit that Fiesta is higher-risk, ineffective, inadequate, more toxic, overwhelmingly condemned, and stunningly expensive !
Instead of admitting that #@!!% Fiesta sucks, they prefer living in the world of false-facts that are non-truths & un-scientific.
