New Democratic Party Introduces Bill To Ban Cosmetic Pesticides In BC.
New Democratic Party of British Columbia ( BC NDP ) is a social-democratic political party.
The party currently forms the official opposition to the governing Liberal Party following the 2009 provincial election.
New Democratic Party functions as the POLITICAL SHIELD for Anti-Pesticide and Environmental-Terrorist Organizations.
New Democratic Party is making another attempt to bring into law a province-wide PROHIBITION against the use of pest control products in the Urban Landscape.
On May 30th, 2012, Opposition NDP Anti-Pesticide Leader Adrian Dix INTRODUCED A BILL called the Cosmetic Use of Pesticides Control Act in the legislature.
According to Anti-Pesticide NDP Leader Dix ―
This bill will protect public health [ ?!?! ], safety [ ?!?! ], and the environment [ ?!?! ] of British Columbia by regulating, restricting, and prohibiting the use and sale of pesticides for residential and cosmetic use, and by regulating the use of pesticides around CHILDREN. [ ?!?! ]
Dix is DESPICABLE in his use of CHILDREN as WEAPONS OF COERCION and ULTIMATE TERROR in order to promote Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION.
A PESTICIDE BAN that is imposed under the PRETEXT of protecting children’s health is WRONG !
Pest control products are SCIENTIFICALLY-SAFE, CAUSE NO HARM, and are NO THREAT TO CHILDREN.
The move marks the fourth time NDP has introduced legislation for NEEDLESS, SENSELESS, and MALICIOUS PROHIBITON.
On May 17th, 2012, British Columbia’s Special Committee On Cosmetic Pesticides determined THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE TO JUSTIFY OUTRIGHT PROHIBITION.
Anti-Pesticide Lunatics argue a precautionary approach should be taken with such pesticides, citing evidence that suggests a possible link to cancer.
These lunatics PREFER TO IGNORE THE COMMON KNOWLEDGE that there are NO pest control products that are known or probable carcinogens.
It is a MYTH to believe that pest control products somehow cause cancer.
Health Canada’s EXTENSIVE TOXICOLOGY DATABASE INDISPUTABLY PROVES that pest control products are SCIENTIFICALLY-SAFE and DO NOT CAUSE CANCER !
There is NOT ONE KNOWN CANCER DEATH from the proper use of pest control products used in the Urban Landscape.
Everyone in the Green Space Industry ― no matter where they live ― must meet with their Member of the Legislative Assembly ( MLA ), preferably not from New Democratic Party.
In order to meet and inform the MLA, you must donate the maximum amount to the party, which is 1,100 dollars in British Columbia.
The cost of this donation is insignificant when compared to the catastrophic business losses inflicted by anti-pesticide prohibition.
Any business owner in the Green Space Industry who does not bother to meet with the local MLA is a pitiful fool and an idiot, and does not deserve a career, or a business, or any success.
PROHIBITION Is NOT Necessary
Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION has already DESTROYED the Modern Professional Lawn Care Industry in many jurisdictions across Canada.
Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION was/is NEEDLESS, SENSELESS, MALICIOUS, and UNNECESSARY.
PROHIBITION is NOT NECESSARY since pest control products are GOVERNMENT-APPROVED, FEDERALLY-LEGAL, SCIENTIFICALLY-SAFE, PRACTICALLY-NON-TOXIC, and CAUSE NO HARM.
Any PROHIBITION against pest control products is NOT JUSTIFIED because STRICT REGULATIONS based on scientific research already PROTECT our health and our environment.
ALL PROHIBITIONS are 100 per cent Politically-Based and 0 per cent Science-Based.
Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITIONS represent a TRIUMPH OF SENTIMENT OVER SCIENCE.
The MAJOR SOURCE of exposure to pest control products is from FOOD SUPPLY, and NOT the Urban Landscape.
PROHIBITION is NOT necessary, and has led to CATASTROPHIC CARNAGE such as BUSINESS FAILURES and UNEMPLOYMENT, and even DEATH.
In jurisdictions like Ontario, PROHIBITION led to the DEATH of an elderly man who was forced to hand-pull TOXIC NOXIOUS WEEDS.
In jurisdictions where PROHIBITION has been IMPLEMENTED, the Professional Lawn Care Industry has SUFFERED IMMENSE LOSSES, in the HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
Moreover, because of PROHIBITION, green spaces are OVER-RUN WITH WEEDS, INFESTED WITH INSECTS, and DISMALLY DESTROYED ― they look like GARBAGE DUMPS.
