Adrian Dix Supports Pesticide Ban

NDP leadership candidate Adrian Dix is supporting the Canadian Cancer Society’s call for legislation to ban cosmetic pesticides.
He says –if elected leader, then premier– he’ll pass legislation to phase them out.
Earlier today, the society reported only one Liberal leadership candidate –Mike De Jong– has promised his support for a ban.
A new poll shows seven out of ten British Columbians are in favour of a phase out.
