Summary
Mr Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media has been following an « eco-scam ».
For a few years now, the idea that bees are dying at an alarming rate, and that somehow humans have something to do with it.
Of course, David Suzuki has been fund-raising to « fight » the calamity ― except bee colony collapse isn’t really happening, any more than global warming.
A new report shows that the U.S. bee population is the highest it’s been in 20 years !

Transcript Of Video Recording
There is this WEIRD ECO SCAM that I’ve been watching out of the corner of my eye for a couple of years now.
It’s this claim that bees … BEES … are all dying, and it’s even some global warming thing, or some chemical thing, or somehow related to humankind’s bad behavior.
Here is a propaganda video produced by, of course, the David Suzuki Foundation, blaming pesticides for the mass extinction of bees.
Yeah, here’s a pro tip ― if David Suzuki starts fund-raising off an issue, you can be sure that it’s either SCIENTIFICALLY BOGUS …
… or OCCAM’S RAZOR here ….
[ BACKGROUND INFORMATION ― Occam’s razor is a problem-solving principle devised by William of Ockham, who was an English Franciscan friar, as well as a scholastic philosopher and a theologian. The principle can be interpreted as ― among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. The wide-spread layperson’s formulation that « the simplest explanation is usually the correct one » appears to have been derived from Occam’s razor. ]
… it’s just what it looks like … another FUND-RAISING SCHEME by David Suzuki.
――――――――――――――――――――
――――――――――――――――――――
――――――――――――――――――――
You see, it IS true that bee colony populations are plummeting year after year … because … they ALWAYS DO.
15 PER CENT, OR SO, BEE COLONIES ALWAYS DIE OFF EACH YEAR ― that’s the historical figure ― so the odd year of it being higher isn’t the sign that « your SUV has killed the bees ».
It’s a normal variation.
――――――――――――――――――――
――――――――――――――――――――
Here is a graph published in the Washington Post this week showing U.S. statistics ― it’s the number of bee colonies in the U.S. [ See segment below. ]
In millions … so … there is more than 2.5 MILLION bee colonies in the U.S.
And as you can see, that’s the HIGHEST NUMBER IN 20 YEARS.
That 2006 line there … is when the U.S. government officially invented something called « Colony Collapse Disorder ».
Sounds pretty serious, doesn’t it ?!?!
But literally, the next year [ 2007 ], almost as if to mock the bureaucrats, the bees staged a STUNNING COMEBACK.
Look, I’m not saying that some species or another are never in jeopardy.
Millions of species have come and gone, [ becoming ] extinct over the course of time.
More have gone extinct in history than live now.
I mean … that sounds tragic, and I guess it would be if we lost something as wonderful and useful as BEES.
But it is natural for species to decline or go extinct.
This happened long before humans came on the scene.
What’s also perfectly natural to, though, is for MONEY-GRUBBING ECO-LOBBY GROUPS to try and turn every natural occurrence into a panic, to blame industry, and to demand donations.
In this case, THE BEES ARE ALL FINE, and, I’m sure, so is David Suzuki’s bank account.

NORAHG Response
Insecticides Cause No Harm & Do Not Hurt Bees !
Mr Ezra Levant is absolutely correct !
There is NO evidence to suggest a link between neonicotinoid insecticides and bee colony collapse disorder.
Neonicotinoid insecticides DO NOT harm bees.
Bee-keepers are harming bees, and NOT neonicotinoid insecticides.
Neonicotinoid insecticides, like imidacloprid, are widely used for the control of insect pests in lawns, gardens, ornamental plants, and agriculture.
Since 2006, pesticide-hating fanatics, like Suzuki, have falsely alleged that there are so-called links and causes between the neonicotinoid insecticides like imidacloprid and bee colony collapse disorder.
However, researchers HAVE NOT been able to identify a single cause of bee colony collapse disorder.
The weight of the scientific evidence clearly shows that neonicotinoid insecticides DO NOT affect bees.
The exposure of bees to neonicotinoid insecticides is at very low levels, far too low to cause harmful effects.
Neonicotinoid insecticides will cause NO harm to bees since treated plant tissues contain only tiny amounts of ingredient, bees are NOT feeding on the plants, and pollen contains barely detectable levels.
If pesticide-hating fanatics, like Suzuki, were NOT so scientifically illiterate, they would know that scientific research shows that, as reported through EPA’s and Health Canada’s vast toxicology database, NO harm will occur to bees when these insecticides are used properly.
Bee colony collapse disorder is the fault of bee-keepers and their mis-management practices.
Bee-keepers are responsible, and NOT neonicotinoid insecticides.
Seemingly, bee-keepers are losing their bees over and over again.
Why is this madness happening ?!?!
Observers have concluded that many bee-keepers have NO idea what they are doing, and are simply NOT skilled to raise bees.
Bee-keepers are killing their own bees over and over again.
The alleged losses of bees are, in fact, the fault of these bee-keepers and their mis-management practices.
The bee-keepers themselves are clearly responsible since they appear to be unable or unwilling or NOT skilled enough to mitigate the real issues that harm bees, such as starvation, weak colonies, fungal infections, and mite infestations.
They prefer to remain unproficient at bee-keeping, and expect the government to shower them with vast sums of unjustifiable compensation.
When used properly, neonicotinoid insecticides cause NO harm, and do NOT hurt bees.
If we had less conventional neonicotinoid use in the environment, we would still have bee colony collapse disorder, because many bee-keepers are NOT competent to manage their hives.
Prohibition will NOT save bees.

Beemageddon ?!?!
Honeybee Numbers At 20 Year High
August 10th, 2015
Washington Post
Selected And Adapted Excerpts
You’ve heard the news about honeybees.
« Beepocalypse », they’ve called it.
Beemageddon.
America’s honeybees are dying, putting honey production and $15 billion worth of pollinated food crops in jeopardy. [ ?!?! ]
The trouble all began around 2006, when bee-keepers began noticing mysterious die-offs. [ ?!?! ]
It was soon christened « Colony Collapse Disorder » [ CDD ], and has been responsible for the loss of 20 to 40 percent of managed honeybee colonies each winter.
But the number of honeybee colonies has actually RISEN since CCD was first documented in 2006, from 2.4 million to 2.7 million in 2014, according to the USDA [ United States Department of Agriculture ].
The 2014 numbers show that the number commercial honey-producing bee colonies managed by human bee-keepers is now THE HIGHEST IT’S BEEN IN 20 YEARS.
So if CCD is wiping out close to a third of all honeybee colonies a year, how are their numbers rising ?!?!
One word : Bee-Keepers.
Bee-keepers have devised two main ways to REPLENISH [ HONEYBEE ] STOCK.
The first involves splitting one healthy colony into two separate colonies.
The other involves buying a bunch of bees to replace the ones you lost.
When CCD came along, it ROUGHLY DOUBLED the usual annual rate of bee die-offs.
But this doesn’t mean that bees are going extinct, just that BEE-KEEPERS NEED TO WORK A LITTLE HARDER TO KEEP PRODUCTION UP.
The price of that extra work will get passed on to the consumer.
THE RETAIL PRICE OF HONEY HAS ROUGHLY DOUBLED SINCE 2006.
And Kim Kaplan, a researcher with the USDA, points out the amount bee-keepers charge to cart their bees around to farms and pollinate fruit and nut trees has APPROXIMATELY DOUBLED OVER THE SAME PERIOD.
But rising prices for fruit and nuts hardly constitute the « beepocalypse » that we’ve all been worried about.

Communities and businesses are being HARMED and DESTROYED and RAPED by LUNATIC-TERRORISTS who ARBITRARILY AND RECKLESSLY IMPOSE PROHIBITIONS against pest control products used in the Urban Landscape and by the Agriculture Industry, and who PERPETRATE OTHER ACTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORISM.
We are living in the 9|11 Era of Anti Pesticide & Environmental Terrorism where at least ONE SUBVERSIVE ACT OF TERRORISM is perpetrated EVERY SINGLE DAY by LUNATIC-TERRORISTS.
A LUNATIC is a person whose actions and manner are marked by extreme recklessness.
The RECKLESS ACTS OF SUBVERSION by these LUNATIC-TERRORISTS has led to the ARBITRARY IMPOSITION of Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION in several jurisdictions throughout North America.
The result was CATASTROPHIC CARNAGE !
Because of LUNATIC-TERRORISTS, provinces like Ontario now have a TRAIL OF ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION WITH HUNDREDS OF SMALL BUSINESSES DESTROYED and THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE OUT OF WORK, a MORE DANGEROUS OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT, and a BLACK MARKET IN PESTICIDES.
Only TRUE LUNATICS would wish to create a TRAIL OF ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION WITH HUNDREDS OF SMALL BUSINESSES DESTROYED and THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE OUT OF WORK.
Because of LUNATIC-TERRORISTS, we are living in the DARK AGE OF ANTI PESTICIDE TERRORISM where sound science is trumped by FAKE SCIENTISTS, JUNK SCIENCE and UNVERIFIABLE SECRET EVIDENCE through FABRICATION, INNUENDO, and INTERNET RUMOR ― scientific research PROVES that pest control products will CAUSE NO HARM and can be USED SAFELY.

Many of these reports and blogs provide a sequence of historical events WITH COMMENTARY, the neutrality of which might be disputed.
This is what we do. Don’t thank us. It’s a public service. And we are glad to do it.
