Response to Czyzewski by NORAHG ( text – short version )
Diane Czyzewski is an Anti-Pesticide Activist operating with Green Party of Canada, with ties to Canadian Cancer Society and Pesticide Free BC.
All three are Anti-Pesticide Organizations that IMPOSE LIFE-STYLE CHOICES by using FRAUD and CONSPIRACY in order to create a so-called healthy society.
Czyzewski also functions as a MOUTH-PIECE for Donovan Cavers.
Cavers is a Councillor with City of Kamloops, and originates from a family of PROMINENT CAREER ACTIVISTS with Green Party of Canada.
According to Czyzewski ( a.k.a. Cavers ) ―
« If you care about your family’s health, especially the CHILDREN, please contact our mayor and council, and insist there be a BAN on the cosmetic use of pesticides. » [ ?!?! ]
The safety assessments of pest control products by Pest Management Regulatory Agency of Heath Canada ( PMRA ) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ) DO take children into consideration.
These assessments DO consider children’s physiology, behaviours, and habits while playing on treated grass.
Moreover, there are NO valid reports of pest control product problems with children.
Anti-Pesticide Activists like Czyzewski ALLEGE that children are somehow MORE vulnerable to pest control products ―
« They [ other Anti-Pesticide Activists ] say that CHILDREN are at risk of being exposed to higher levels of pesticides than adults from crawling and playing in the grass or gardens that have been treated with pesticides. »
This is a MYTH !
Anti-Pesticide Activists like Czyzewski are DESPICABLE in their use of CHILDREN as WEAPONS OF COERCION and ULTIMATE TERROR in order to promote Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION.
Children Are NOT At Risk !
Moreover, without pest control products, HAZARDOUS SLIPPING AND TRIPPING CONDITIONS OCCUR, placing CHILDREN AT RISK OF INJURY and becoming SERIOUSLY HURT.
Pest control products PROTECT CHILDREN by PREVENTING SLIPPING INJURIES on playing surfaces.
Where does the public stand on the use of so-called chemical pesticides ?
A recent POLL conducted by Canadian Consumer Specialty Products Association ( CCSPA ) showed that the VAST MAJORITY of residents in British Columbia are OPPOSED to the PROHIBITION of conventional pest control products, and they actually FAVOUR the continued use of these products around their homes and in public green spaces.
According to another recent Ontario poll, MORE THAN HALF of Ontario home-owners feel the provincial government DID NOT DO THE RIGHT THING by implementing Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION.
Ontario home-owners WOULD RATHER HAVE THE BAN SCRAPPED OR MODIFIED.
According to Czyzewski ―
« There is evidence that children with parents who work with pesticides may be at risk of developing leukemia, brain cancer, and kidney cancer. » [ WRONG ! ]
Pest control products are SCIENTIFICALLY SAFE, and NO HARM WILL OCCUR when they are used according to label directions.
There is NOT ONE KNOWN CANCER DEATH from the proper use of pest control products used in the Urban Landscape.
Even Canadian Cancer Society states on several of its web-sites that scientific research DOES NOT PROVIDE A CONCLUSIVE LINK between pesticides and human cancer.
Pest control products like 2,4-D Herbicide have been used for the control of broad-leaved weeds in the Urban Landscape SINCE 1946, and has a 65-YEAR UNBLEMISHED SAFETY RECORD regarding long-term risk to health.
Health Canada’s EXTENSIVE TOXICOLOGY DATABASE INDISPUTABLY PROVES that pest control products are SCIENTIFICALLY SAFE since they have been scrutinized and approved by the HUNDREDS of expert scientists at Health Canada !
Health Canada requires each new pest control product to go through about TWO-HUNDRED SEPARATE TESTS to examine health and environmental impacts as well as value, and costing about 250 MILLION DOLLARS.
There are THOUSANDS OF DEATHS per year from KNOWN CANCER-CAUSING SUBSTANCES such as cigarette smoke and alcohol.
Conversely, Anti-Pesticide Organizations like Canadian Cancer Society have NOT SPENT A SINGLE PENNY to research pest control products.
Furthermore, Anti-Pesticide Activists like Czyzewski COULD NOT EVEN BE BOTHERED to have used the EXTENSIVE TOXICOLOGY DATABASE that is available from Health Canada.
They are not only SCIENTIFICALLY IGNORANT, but also LAZY and OBTUSE.
Additionally, according to American Cancer Society, CANCER RATES AND DEATHS ARE ACTUALLY DROPPING.
Czyzewski’s RANTS have the effect of making children ANXIOUS and adults ALARMED AND ENRAGED because of her FABRICATIONS, her INNUENDOS, and her CONCOCTIONS OF IMAGINARY DANGER.
Scientific research shows, as reported through Health Canada’s VAST TOXICOLOGY DATABASE, that NO HARM WILL OCCUR when pest control products are used according to label directions.
The RISK ASSESSMENT of pest control products indicates that they are PRACTICALLY-NON-TOXIC.
Consequently, it is a fact that pest control products cause NO HARM, including chronic effects such as CANCER.
According to Czyzewski ―
« Dr. June Irwin, from the province of Quebec, along with The Ontario College of Family Physicians have voiced their concerns about the exposure pesticides have on humans. » [ ?!?! ]
Both Irwin and those operating Ontario College of Family Physicians are considered to be DISCREDITED, RADICAL, and SCIENTIFICALLY IGNORANT.
Ontario College of Family Physicians ( OCFP ) is a DISCREDITED RADICAL Anti-Pesticide Organization that is INDIRECTLY OPERATED as a PARTISAN PUBLIC INFORMATION SHIELD by Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
If ( or when ) British Columbia IMPOSES NEEDLESS, SENSELESS, and MALICIOUS PROHIBITION against pest control products used in the Urban Landscape, there will be NO RECOURSE but STRIKING BACK with LITIGATION against Anti-Pesticide Activists and Government Officials.

DISCREDITED, RADICAL, AND SCIENTIFICALLY IGNORANT
Ontario College of Family Physicians ( OCFP ) is a DISCREDITED RADICAL Anti-Pesticide Organization that is INDIRECTLY OPERATED as a PARTISAN PUBLIC INFORMATION SHIELD by Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
OCFP DID NOT conduct a serious scientific study … it conducted a mere Literature Review, and could only use those reports found in the OPEN PUBLIC LITERATURE.
OCFP was NOT even in « The Information Loop » on issues regarding pest control products, and did not avail itself to the EXTENSIVE TOXICOLOGY DATABASE that is available from Health Canada.
OCFP never even bothered to request to look at the TOXICOLOGY DATBASE through a process that Health Canada refers to as The Reading Room.
The authors and reviewers of the BOGUS-OCFP-Review were not only SCIENTIFICALLY IGNORANT, they were LAZY and STUPID.
ONTARIO COLLEGE OF FAMILY PHYSICIANS ( Web-Page )
THE DISCREDITED CLOWN OF JUNK SCIENCE
In the minds of Anti-Pesticide Activists, June Irwin was somehow some kind of expert in matters concerning pest control products.
It also seems that Irwin was the person who can ultimately be acclaimed for Anti-Pesticide PROHIBITION in the Town of Hudson, Quebec, and the provincial PROHIBITIONS that followed ― this is a MYTH.
In 1991, the Town of Hudson, governed by a SUBVERSIVE GROUP OF LUNATICS, PROHIBITED against the use of pest control products that were otherwise HEALTH-CANADA-APPROVED, FEDERALLY-LEGAL, and SCIENTIFICALLY-SAFE.
Hudson is a small isolated Anglophone-ghetto town located near Montreal, Quebec.
June Irwin had officially NO training in pest control products, radioactive substances, or any other materials ARBITRARILY deemed harmful by her.
Moreover, Irwin was described as a pitifully uninspiring public speaker whose only asset was an irritatingly high-pitched voice that droned incessantly for hours with her unsubstantiated complaints, never allowing a single person to speak or comment.
Irwin has been more accurately described as a non-expert, frustrated, aging, self-isolated, and homely spinster whose contribution to the PESTICIDE BAN in Hudson was VERY MINIMAL.
In fact, Jack Layton, the last Enviro-Lunatic Leader of New Democratic Party of Canada, PLAYED A FAR GREATER PIVOTAL ROLE in Hudson’s SUBVERSIVE PROHIBITION than Irwin.
In Canada, New Democratic Party operates as the POLITICAL SHIELD for Anti-Pesticide and Environmental-Terrorist Organizations.
Irwin was a mere dermatologist with a minimal medical practice in an office that was over-run with dust, and dirt, and derelict antiques.
Additionally, Irwin was a hobby farmer who seemingly preferred the company of chickens, geese, and sheep, rather than people.
She was typically representative of those Anti-Pesticide and Environmental Lunatics who DESPISE SOCIETY, HATE PEOPLE, and DISLIKE DECENT HOMES and NICE LANDSCAPES, often PREFERRING TO LIVE IN A PIGSTY ENVIRONMENT.
Although Irwin was DISCREDITED AS SCIENTIFICALLY IGNORANT, powerful outsiders changed the course of events in Hudson.
The SPINELESS Mayor of Hudson eventually CAPITULATED and SUPPORTED PROHIBITION, under the pressure exerted from Jack Layton and other Anti-Pesticide Lunatic Leaders.
Outside of Hudson, Irwin was treated more like a CLOWN, and was almost totally ignored, and certainly would have remained unknown and forgotten, until an American PROFITEER and TAX-EVADER named Paul Tukey CONCOCTED a home-video story about her so-called successful exploits.
Both Tukey and Irwin share the PROFITS from the sale of this video.
CULPRIT – TUKEY, PAUL – THE BIN LADEN OF ENVIRONMENTAL-TERRORISM ( Web-Page )
It is a little known fact that what sent Irwin wailing against pest control products in the 1980s was TO SEEK REVENGE for her beloved feces-and-urine-polluting sheep.
In the early 1980s, Irwin was REPRIMANDED by the Town of Hudson for the UNSANITARY CONDITIONS of her seventy-acre farm ― her home environment was described as a PIGSTY.
Sheep urine and feces were reportedly overflowing from Irwin’s property, and escaping into the local waterways in quantities that POLLUTED Hudson’s environment, leading neighbours clamouring for her to stop.
In retaliation, Irwin SOUGHT REVENGE by ruining the beloved mature green spaces of the Hudson community.
NO RECOURSE BUT LITIGATION
If ( or when ) British Columbia IMPOSES NEEDLESS, SENSELESS, and MALICIOUS PROHIBITION against pest control products used in the Urban Landscape, there will be NO RECOURSE but STRIKING BACK with LITIGATION against Anti-Pesticide Activists and Government Officials.
STRIKING BACK AGAINST TERRORISM ( Web-Page )
Moreover, COMPLAINTS will continue for the CANCELLATION of GOVERNMENT GRANTS and REVOCATION of the TAX EXEMPT STATUS of Anti-Pesticide Organizations like Canadian Cancer Society.
COMPLAINT CHANNELS – BUSINESS, FUND-RAISING, GOVERNMENT, & TAXATION AGENCIES ( Web-Page )
Anti-Pesticide Activists and Government Officials are advised that all names, statements, activities, and affiliations have been ARCHIVED for eventual CRIMINAL CHARGES.
When criminal charges for FRAUD and CONSPIRACY are laid, legal experts say that there is sufficient information to lead to a SUCCESSFUL PROSECUTION !
The Government of British Columbia may wish to consider providing an EXCEPTION STATUS to ALL CERTIFIED APPLICATORS, including those in the Professional Lawn Care Industry.
EXCEPTION STATUSES have been adopted in jurisdictions like Kamloops and Salmon Arm, where Government Officials have left pest control products in the hands of professionally-trained applicators.

Many studies done on the use of pesticides.
I am writing concerning the local use of pesticides and the letter written by Diane Czyzewski ( “ Council needs to take action against pesticides ” ).
Mrs. Czyewski writes that Dr. June Irwin, from the province of Quebec, along with the Ontario College of Family Physicians, have voiced their concerns about the exposure pesticides have on humans.
Suggestions that have come up are ―
Medical persons should consider the following ―
● Screen patients for pesticide exposure at a level that may cause significant health problems, and intervene if necessary.
● Take pesticide exposure history when non-specific symptoms are present such as fatigue, dizziness, low energy, rashes, weaknesses, sleep problems, anxiety, and depression.
● Focus efforts on prevention rather than on researching the causes of chronic or terminal disease.
● Consider high-risk groups ( e.g. children, pregnant women, seniors ) in their practices.
● Advocate reduction of pesticide use both to the patient, and in the community.'
These are all reasonable and supported by someone such as myself for if any such program were to be instituted it would support that the pesticides already regulated by Health Canada have been proven to be safe for the applicators and the public at large.
It needs to be mentioned that Health Canada directs a large part of their studies on bystander exposure and through this specifically pregnant women, children and those of compromised immune systems.
It is interesting that the Quebec government studied the body burden of chemicals that children in the province carry.
Diane Czyzewski goes on to say that though 98 per cent of all children tested were found to have pesticides from food, water and air in their bodies, the tests did not find any lawn care herbicides in the bodies of children living in municipalities with a ban.
I have not heard of this and would be interested to learn more. What we do know is that this time last year the government of Quebec made a statement in court that acknowledged that the herbicide 2,4-D was safe to use as directed.
In municipalities without a ban, these lawn-care herbicides were found in children's bodies in addition to the other pesticides and we are to note that these municipalities are not listed.
Possibly in Diane Czyzewski’s next letter she could inform us on who these municipalities are.
She would be interested in the study done by Health Canada on Saskatchewan Farmers and their families.
Saskatchewan farmers use more pesticide than any other user group in the country, and the investigation focused on the herbicide 2,4-D.
Their review found consistent evidence of the health risks to farmers with exposure to pesticides as well.
However, the study noted that there was a statistical reduction in diseases naming brain cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer, and leukemia and specifically a reduction in non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
This information is available to the public through Health Canada web site PMRA.

Response to Czyzewski by 552312 ( text )
Diane Czyzewski should at least do some research into the actual science behind pesticides before she puts the pen to paper.
There has never been a documented case of cancer or other ailment associated to pesticides in Canada from products that are registered by Health Canada.
To have children tested for pesticide exposure is complete and utter nonsense.
The health care system is already overtaxed and to add testing for an ailment that does not exist would be foolish.
The Quebec government recently recanted their stance on 2,4-D and now agrees with Health Canada that it is safe to use.
Ms Czyzewski should be tested for chemophobia; an common ailment found in many pesticide bylaw communities.
It is treatable with a good dose of research and reality.
Response to Czyzewski by Dorite ( text )
552312 ― Yes, I agree. Diane's regular ranting about pesticides does nothing to further her self-appointed cause ― it is getting tiresome.
Dianne ― where is the scientific, peer-reviewed evidence to support your claim ??
We trust Health Canada to approve and regulate pharmaceuticals taken daily by millions of people ― surely we can trust them on the pesticide question.
Health Canada review/approves these products.
The Ministry of the Environment regulates the use of these products.
We sure as heck do not need the city to interfere.
Too much government !!!
Response to Czyzewski by Pierre Filisetti ( text )
The food (fresh & processed), the personal care products (shampoos, cosmetics, deodorants, etc.), the pharmaceuticals (over-the-counter or prescription) all can be brought under scrutiny. Often perhaps, even more so.
Considerate and judicious use of certain products helps tremendously in delivering a cost-effective landscape management strategy.
I agree that the less we use the better. However please do not "demonize" one particular aspect of our daily life. Everything contributes!
