NASA’s Satellite Data Blows Gaping Hole In Alarmism
NASA Satellite Data from 2000 to 2011 found that the atmosphere has been releasing far more heat into space than warming models predicted.
From 2000 through 2011, satellite data from National Aeronautics and Space Administration ( NASA ) showed that the Earth’s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing.
The study authors noted ―
There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts.
The study indicates far less future Global Warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.
Satellite observations « suggest there is much more energy lost to space … than the climate models show », the study found.
In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite DATA SHOW THE ATMOSPHERE BEGINS SHEDDING HEAT INTO SPACE long before United Nations computer models predicted.
The new findings are extremely important and should DRAMATICALLY ALTER THE GLOBAL WARMING DEBATE.
Scientists on all sides of the Global Warming debate are in general agreement about how much heat is being directly trapped by human emissions of carbon dioxide … the answer is « not much ».

Canadian Tax-Payers Can NO LONGER AFFORD The #@!!% Kyoto NONSENSE
The Kyoto Protocol was a protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, aimed at fighting so-called Global Warming.
The Protocol was initially adopted on December 11th, 1997, in Kyoto, Japan, and entered into force on February 16th, 2005.
The Kyoto Protocol is an international environmental treaty with the ridiculous goal of achieving the « stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system ».
As of September 2011, 191 states had signed and ratified the protocol, and the only remaining signatory not to have ratified the protocol was the United States.
In 2010, Canada, Japan and Russia stated that they would not take on further Kyoto targets.
On December 12th, 2011, the Government of Canada invoked its legal right to formally WITHDRAW from the Kyoto Protocol.
Canada was committed to cutting its greenhouse emissions to 6 per cent below 1990 levels by 2012, but in 2009 emissions were 17 per cent higher than in 1990.
Environment Minister Peter Kent cited Canada’s liability to « enormous financial penalties » under the treaty unless it withdrew.
Withdrawing from the Kyoto Protocol saved Canada 14 BILLION DOLLARS.
Canada has already SQUANDERED BILLIONS OF DOLLARS attempting to « stop climate change » when even a cursory examination of the science reveals it to be so immature that we cannot meaningfully forecast, let alone control, future climate.
The issue of so-called Global Warming provided VAST AMOUNTS OF PROFIT to Environmental-Terrorist-Organizations like Greenpeace and David Suzuki Foundation.

Cosmic rays have been shown experimentally to assist in cloud formation.
Fewer cosmic rays result in reduced low cloud cover, which allows more sunlight to warm the Earth’s surface.
The United Nations International Panel On Climate Change ( IPCC ) reports have been mis-represented by the non-scientific IPCC bureaucrats in preparing the Summary-For-Policy-Makers.
Recent research casts doubt on historical data used by the IPCC.
Urban effects have contaminated surface temperature data.
Some measured CO2 levels of the past 180 years appear to be in excess of present levels.
Current climate computer models are unsuitable for making reliable climate forecasts mainly because they assume without justification that CO2 is the major driver of climate.
The cosmic ray effects on clouds are ignored.
The input assumptions are adjusted to make the temperature projections match recent temperature trends, thereby grossly exaggerating the effects of CO2 on the climate.
The models, in response to CO2, predict a distinctive temperature profile in the atmosphere, which is totally absent from the observational record.

Skepticism Explained
A reader asked a question of me in a comment a while ago, and now that I am back to blogging I think I’ll answer it.
I write only of my own path to skepticism, I’m sure that there are many others who have different reasons, but that is for them to know and reveal, if they wish.
Jeremy, a hard-core anti-wealth ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING « believer » asked me this question ―
Could you just clarify something for me – leave aside the issue of what might be causing it, is the earth heating up or not ? Only you say there has been « no warming since 1997 », but repeatedly say « it’s the sun » as if the earth is warming after all.
Short answer, maybe the planet is warming, maybe it’s not; it does not matter.
The most asinine label attached to ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING ( AGW ) theory is « climate change ».
Climate always changes, its natural state is to be in constant flux; climate has been warming and cooling long before man came along and will be doing so long after man is gone.
What I do not give credence is that man or his activities have any effect whatsoever on the climate of the planet.
Don’t get me wrong, I do not support wanton polluters or casual disregard for natural resources, but nor do I possess a desire to return to the stone age and give up all the wonderful inventions and conveniences of modern life.
If environmentalism simply meant promoting cleaner air, water and maximized use of resources like oil and gas, and embraced nuclear power I might even be a member of a group like that.
But Anthropogenic Global Warming is nothing but junk science supported by flimsy computer models designed and operated by alchemists.
That Al Gore, a life-long failure in every academic endeavor he ever undertook, leads this movement is the icing on the cake.
Consider that the planet is estimated to be anywhere between 3.5 and 4.5 billion years old.
It has survived meteor impacts, geologic upheavals, volcanic eruptions and glaciation, each of which humble man’s feeble ability to impact the planet.
Yet Anthropogenic Global Warming theorists studied fewer than 100 years of recorded temperature data and claim to know not only that the world is warming, but that man is the cause.
If it were not so serious in its consequences, it would be laughable.
Why am I a skeptic ?
Because the first time I heard about the issue of Anthropogenic Global Warming, it was Al Gore and David Suzuki telling me that the science was settled and the debate was over.
Really ?
Science is settled ?
Show me anyone making that claim and I will show you someone unworthy of the respect due a scientist.
The arrogance of the claim raised a red flag in my enquiring mind, and when I started to investigate, the hubris and dishonesty of the Anthropogenic Global
Warming proponents became immediately apparent, and this blog was born.
Jeremy asks why I frequently refer to the Sun if I don’t believe in global warming.
Simply put, the Sun is the engine that drives climate ― an active sun makes us warmer and a quiet sun warms us less, as demonstrated since the late 1990′s.
That’s it, all you need to know about climate « science » is right there.
No computer models required. Blaming Anthropogenic Global Warming on trace amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere is akin to blaming dolphins for the tides.
I used to think that environmentalists of the old school were decent people, caring for the natural world and bringing attention to things that man could do better.
But some time ago, the movement was hijacked by activists with agendas like anti-capitalism, anti-industry, anti-nuclear stances and these activists were soon joined by any number of name-your-grievance losers that were unable to make a go of it in the real world and threw ideological tantrums as a result.
If these deluded folks did nothing but scream about their outrage du jour and did no harm, I’d let them go at it, whatever rows your boat.
But there is a dark underbelly to the greens that makes me furious, and I want them held accountable.
Greenpeace is a genocidal organization with the blood of millions of dead African children on its hands.
Greens try to convince us that using food for fuel is a good idea when almost a third of the global population is starving.
Greens claim that the planet cannot support the present population of the planet, and then go about encouraging behavior that makes that prediction a devastating reality.
Greens want to ban GM foods, ban DDT, ban fertilizers and anything that promotes efficient food production, never mind how many must die to satisfy their craven delusion that they are doing something « good ».
Until the cycle of cynical activism ends, I will use my little blog to represent the skeptical side of the equation.
Readers should make up their own minds, don’t take my word for it ― educate yourself and see what you think, but at least think about it.
That is advice most of the green sites will never encourage, for they know that once people see the reality, their hoax is done.

Very interesting, this Mr. Milloy's junk science. Downright fountain of wisdom. Mr. Milloy's credentials are not exactly inspiring. Anyone using the stupid expression "junk science" is not credible. The vast majority of world scientists subscribe to climate change. I wonder why? It makes sense to take into account the changes on earth or in the earth's atmosphere, instead of waiting for the sun itself to be the instrument of change exclusively. How come I am the only one to submit my thoughts here? No one else is interested? How come?
