The Media History Of Canadian Golf Superintendents Association
–
–
–
――――――――――――――――――
–
–
Canadian Golf Superintendents Association ( CGSA ) represents golf course superintendents, assistant superintendents, equipment technicians, and others involved in golf course management from across Canada.
CGSA was founded in 1966 and currently has approximately 1400 members.
The CGSA mission is to promote and support the golf course management profession.
Is CGSA incapable of making any correct decisions ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Is A Failure As A Trade Association
–
Observers have repeatedly warned CGSA leaders to STOP FAILING THEIR MEMBERS with diversionary distractions like wag-the-dog, and to STOP supporting anti-pesticide prohibition ― sadly, CGSA is simply NOT competent enough to manage policies concerning pest control products. The CGSA’s 2001 and 2009-2010 leaders were especially disappointing in their manner of conduct. Future generations will ask the question ― WHY ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Supports Prohibition Terrжrism
–
Inconceivably, CGSA leaders endorse the imposition of arbitrary prohibition against pest control products used in the urban landscape … as long as the golf industry is provided with a pesticide ban exception status. The CGSA’s 2009-2010 leaders were especially enthusiastic in their support of arbitrary prohibition. Future generations will ask the question ― WHY ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Wags-The-Dog With Quintozene
–
The pompous and idiotic elected leaders and staff of CGSA are seemingly oblivious to the inevitable and total revocation of the golf industry’s pesticide ban exception status ― meanwhile, CGSA leaders prefer to wag-the-dog, and to purposely divert the attention of its members by pursuing pointless issues like save-quintozene. The CGSA’s 2009-2010 leaders were especially proficient at wagging-the-dog and save-quintozene. Future generations will ask the question ― WHY ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Unceremoniously & Disgracefully Mistreats Even Its Highest-Ranking Members
–
CGSA ungraciously dumped the beloved founding father of its trade association and its magazine ― the entire board of directors of CGSA will absolutely never amount to one-tenth the value of the man that was Gordon Witteveen. The CGSA’s 2001 leaders were especially vicious against this beloved icon. Future generations will ask the question ― WHY ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Financially Mis-Manages Our Trade Association
–
In 2016, CGSA announced it was conducting a complete review of its operations. The review came on the heels of a deficit of more than $100,000 the association ran up in its 2014 fiscal year. The CGSA executive director, Ken Cousineau, was terminated by the association. Cousineau’s departure from CGSA was a welcome relief. Future generations will ask the question ― WHY DID YOU LET THIS HAPPEN ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Is Not Competent To Defend The Use Of Pest Control Products
–
CGSA will inevitably be responsible for the imminent revocation of the golf industry’s pesticide ban exception status. Should we trust CGSA, which has NO ONE who has ANY expertise, training, or background in matters concerning pest control products ?!?!
–
√ FACT — CGSA Fails To Defend Golf Superintendents & Their Facilities
–
What has CGSA done in the against Suzuki environmental terrжr ?!?! NOTHING ! The pompous and idiotic elected leaders and staff of CGSA failed to confront and defend against David Suzuki and his fanatжcal-operatives from attacking golf businesses. The #@!!% Suzuki-documentary « Dad and the Dandelions » first aired on March 2nd, 2017, which represents his latest anti-pesticide campaign that falsely and strongly implies that golf courses cause cancer and kill people. [ ?!?! ] Suzuki’s fanatжcal-operatives spent a year-and-a-half producing the documentary. It was financed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ( CBC ) to the tune of 1 million dollars. The #@!!% Suzuki-documentary attacks the golf industry as revenge for his operative’s father’s death ! Suzuki intends to leave a legacy of terrжrized & destroyed golf facilities, lost jobs and hardship for golf employees, and weakened communities. And CGSA has DONE NOTHING and will DO NOTHING. The CGSA has failed in its mission is to confront and defend the golf course management profession. Future generations will ask the question ― WHY DID YOU FAIL US ?!?!
