These NEEDLESS, SENSELESS, and MALICIOUS TAXES AND FEES led to INCREASED OPERATING COSTS for the Green Space Industry.
The cost of fertilizer INCREASED BY AT LEAST 10 PER CENT.
Under the MHSW program, the fertilizer companies were COERCED into paying the entire cost of so-called FERTILIZER WASTE.
This cost was then PASSED ON to the end-users in the Green Space Industry.
The Ontario Municipal Hazardous and Special Waste Program Fee ( MHSW ) increased the cost of fertilizer by at least FIFTY-EIGHT CENTS per 25-kilogram-bag.
Additionally, the Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax ( HST ) increased the cost of fertilizer by at least ONE-DOLLAR-AND-TWENTY-FIVE-CENTS per 25-kilogram-bag.
Fertilizer sold in Ontario increased by at least 50 TO 75 DOLLARS PER METRIC TON.
In the Golf Industry, an 18-hole-golf course requiring 30 metric tons per year needed to increase its fertilizer budget by OVER TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS.

McGuinty Junior also legislated the Harmonized Sales Tax ( HST ), the largest tax EVER.
HST provided Junior and the Province of Ontario with an additional THREE BILLION DOLLARS per year.
Junior also increased the Hydro-Electric-Power by 10 per cent.
Junior has also increased the tax on liquor and wine by 10 per cent.
Junior has imposed the Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste Program Plan ( MHSW ), which increased the price of many items, including FERTILIZER, as well as electronics, paint cans, and automobile tires.
Junior doubled the price of most lottery tickets ( which was NOT called a tax ).
Oddly enough, Junior awarded himself a nice little SALARY INCREASE of 40,000 DOLLARS per year.

These Big Bother government regulations ADD TO THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS, simply for the optics it creates for government benefit.
