The Enviro-Lunatic-Version of Integrated Pest Management DEMANDS the ELIMINATION of the use of conventional pest control products while at the same time managing pest populations at an acceptable level.
Unfortunately, Integrated Pest Management has been designed to be applicable to the Agriculture Industry, and NOT the Green Space Industry.
Overall, Integrated Pest Management is a DISMAL FAILURE AND A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY for the Green Space Industry.
Overall, I.P.M. cultural practices DO NOT CONTROL PESTS of established turf and ornamentals.

Wherever Pesticide-Free Integrated Pest Management is entirely relied upon for the maintenance of turf and ornamentals, damaging pests MAY only be slightly suppressed, AT THE EXPENSE OF PLANT GROWTH AND PLAYING CONDITIONS.
In practice, I.P.M. MAY BE MORE USEFUL in providing some LIMITED IMPROVEMENT towards the efficiency and effectiveness of conventional pest control products.
The DISMAL FAILURE of Ontario Voluntary Turf I.P.M. Accreditation
In essence, Integrated Pest Management became FASHIONABLE because of the impending threat of PROHIBITION of conventional pest control products.
For example, in 2005, the Ontario Green Space Industry launched I.P.M. ACCREDITATION as an alternative to the looming municipal PROHIBITIONS against conventional pest control products.
Indeed, since 2003, Pamela Charbonneau, a Turfgrass Specialist with Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, had been spear-heading the ambitious Ontario Voluntary Turf Integrated Pest Management Accreditation program for the Modern Professional Lawn Care Industry.

The I.P.M. Council has proposed I.P.M. Accreditation as an alternative to pesticide prohibitions in municipalities in Ontario as a means to APPEASE environmentalists.
Ontario Voluntary Turf Integrated Pest Management Accreditation may have served only to irritate Non-Expert Anti-Pesticide Lunatics, who countered that this Ontario I.P.M. program SHOULD HAVE ELIMINATED the need to use ALL conventional pest control products.
In the final analysis, the Ontario Voluntary Turf Integrated Pest Management Accreditation program was a DISMAL FAILURE.
Despite the fact that pest control products are HEALTH-CANADA-APPROVED AND SCIENTIFICALLY-SAFE, dozens of Ontario municipalities legislated PROHIBITION.
Finally, on April 22nd, 2009, the Government of Ontario implemented legislation the NEEDLESS, SENSELESS, and MALICIOUS PROHIBITION against pest control products used by the Modern Professional Lawn Care Industry.
Unfortunately, Integrated Pest Management has NOT been scientifically proven to SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE OR ELIMINATE the use of pest control products while effectively and consistently controlling the pests that damage turf and ornamental plants.
Moreover, Pesticide-Free Integrated Pest Management DOES NOT effectively and consistently control the pests of turf and ornamental plants.
The DISMAL FAILURE of I.P.M. As A Public Affairs Strategy
Integrated Pest Management will NEVER APPEASE Anti-Pesticide Lunatics.
#@!!% I.P.M. NONSENSE will NOT improve the public and political LACK-OF-CONFIDENCE regarding the safety of products used by the Green Space Industry.
The Green Space Industry must CEASE focusing on #@!! % I.P.M. NONSENSE as the solution to its public affairs problems.
The leaders of the Green Space Industry who are promoting #@!!% I.P.M. NONSENSE are leading everyone to their DOOM !
MOST people who promote Integrated Pest Management have NO adequate expertise, training, or background, in these matters ― they tend to know about as much as those people listening to them ― they are NOT true « experts » !
MOST people who claim Integrated Pest Management actually works are simply DAY-DREAMING IN THE OUTER LIMITS.
Moreover, several people who allege that Integrated Pest Management works effectively are likely CONCOCTING LIES, MISCONCEPTIONS, and DECEPTIONS for their own twisted personal interests ― their so-called success stories regarding I.P.M. are usually UNVERIFIABLE.
