It can be tough to spot FALSEHOODS right off the bat, but if you know what to look for, you can spot clues in INCONSISTENCIES or QUESTIONABLE ASSERTIONS. 

 

Besides, if a job candidate is a LYING SACK OF CRЖP before being employed, then he⁄she will likely remain a LYING SACK OF CRЖP as an employee.

EDUCATION is an area where job candidates often EMBELLISH or LIE. 

 

While some job candidates boldly state that they went to a school they DID NOT attend, others are MISLEADING in more subtle ways.

 

One RED FLAG is that the job candidate DOES NOT put the correct degree earned. 

 

When they just say they earned a Bachelor’s Degree instead of a Bachelor of Science ( B.Sc. ) or Bachelor of Fine Arts ( B.F.A. ), ask more questions. 

 

Ask    « Did you actually get a Bachelor’s Degree ?!?!? ». 

 

The job candidate may say, « Yeah. I was 10 or 12 credits short ». 

 

It would be preferable that the job candidate put in the resume, « Completed 110 credits toward Bachelor’s Degree ». 

 

This way, the job candidate is being honest that he⁄she has completed coursework toward a Bachelor’s Degree, or a certain amount, but not saying that he⁄she has got a degree when they have not. 

 

Otherwise, a job candidate who LIES with BOGUS EDUCATION must be considered MORALLY BANKRUPT, and is UNFIT to work for you.
