Industry lobbyists such as Lorne Hepworth, or scientists? The science-based Suzuki Foundation does not mince words when it says pesticides are contributing to bees' decline and notes that "even low levels of pesticides can affect bee longevity, memory, navigation and foraging abilities."
A crucial step in protecting these pollinators is banning non-essential chemicals such as pesticides used on lawns and gardens.
