Michael S. Irving Fined $2,500 For Operating Without A License
KINGSTON – On December 1, 2011, Michael S. Irving was convicted of one violation under the Pesticides Actfor operating an extermination business, without an operator’s licence.
The Court heard that Mr. Irving owns and operates an extermination business located in Joyceville. In 2007, Mr. Irving was convicted and fined $350 for operating a pesticide business without a license. Mr. Irving was also advised to obtain an operator’s license from the ministry, which he failed to do.
Mr. Irving was charged following an investigation by the ministry’s Investigations and Enforcement Branch.
Mr. Irving was fined $2,500 plus a victim fine surcharge. He was given six months to pay the fine.
